‘Inside Out 2’ opens SA Summer Film Series

Get out the lawn chairs, gather the snacks and round up the kids: The undergraduate Student Association’s Summer Film Series is back for another season of free screenings of some popular films in an outdoor setting on the North Campus.

The series runs from June 24 through Aug. 19 at the Special Events Field near the Student Union. Screenings begin at 9 p.m. through July 29 and at 8:30 p.m. for the rest of the season. The only exception is the July 3 double feature of “Deadpool” and “Wolverine,” which begins at 8 p.m.

The screenings are free and open to members of the public, as well as the UB community.

In the event of rain, screenings will be cancelled, and cancellations posted on , on the  and on the movie screen itself.

  • June 24: “Inside Out 2.”
  • June 27: “Wicked.”
  • July 1: “Deadpool.”
  • July 3: “Deadpool” and “Wolverine.”
  • July 8: “Dune, Part One.”
  • July 11: “Dune, Part Two.”
  • July 15: “Captain America: Brave New World.”
  • July 18: “Mickey 17.”
  • July 22: “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.”
  • July 25: “One of Them Days.”
  • July 29: “Mufasa.”
  • Aug. 1: “A Quiet Place.”
  • Aug. 5: “A Quiet Place: Day One.”
  • Aug. 8: “Lisa Frankenstein.”
  • Aug. 12: “Asteroid City.”
  • Aug. 15: “Megan.”
  • Aug. 19: “Black Bag.”
